ARC Raiders developers have revealed all the new additions coming with the Riven Tides update, including a new map, a new enemy, map conditions, items, events, and more.
The last addition to ARC Raiders’ old roadmap arrives tomorrow, with Headwinds coming in January, Shrouded Sky in February, Flashpoint in March, and Riven Tides in April. The latest update will feature a whole bunch of new content for players to check out, and all the details are listed below.
What’s New in ARC Raiders Riven Tides?
Riven Tides Map
Starting with the new ARC Raider map, Riven Tides, players will be able to explore a region on the western coast of the Rust Belt, which has been abandoned twice, once during the Exodus and again by the survivors of the first wave. The players will also be able to explore an abandoned shoreline and a hotel called Panorama Azzurro, which features a bunch of treasures.
ARC Turbine
Players will also face a new enemy in this update: the ARC Turbine, which will present a “unique fight” with massive defensive capabilities. The developers haven’t revealed what it actually does or how to counter it, and that’s for the players to find out once the update arrives.
Beachcombing Map Condition
Players will also receive a new minor map condition with the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update, called Beachcombing. Players will have to be on the lookout for the Dockmaster’s Detector to find buried loot and other treasures.
New Items: Crash Mat and Power Descender
The new update will provide players with items that will help with descending, teasing that skillful Raiders can learn how to “defy gravity, as long as they remain focused”. So getting down from high points is going to get much easier.
Last Resort Event
A new event, called Last Resort, will run through May 25 and reward players with Merits. Players will also be tasked to hunt miniature ship modes for bonus gains, and will include rewards like Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, Hose attachment, Brass Faucet charm, new emotes, and 250 Raider Tokens.
Avial Alarm Raider Project
ARC Raiders Riven Tides update will also introduce a new Raider Project, Avian Alarm. For this project, players need to build a makeshift security system to sense tremors and atmospheric changes. They will also have to release cages to capture birds on the Riven Tides to create the Avian Alarm. Going through all five stages will reward players with all five stages to earn the Dockmaster’s Detector, Gel Patches, the Bird House backpack attachment, the Fist In Air emote, and 250 Raider Tokens.
New Cosmetics
Lastly, the latest update will also introduce new cosmetics, including the Solare Set drapes, the Rachetta Set, the Corsaro Set, the Castaway Set, and the Sandveil Set.
The ARC Raiders Riven Tides update releases tomorrow, April 28, and all details have been provided in a new blog post.
In other news, ARC Raiders will also receive the upgraded PSSR for the PS5 Pro tomorrow. Embark Studios has published a string of changes coming to the Trials mode in ARC Raiders, and has also unveiled the new reward outfit. What are your thoughts on the ARC Raiders Riven Tides update?
