The Call of Duty League 2026 season is fast pushing towards a solid resolution. We’ve had a stunning season thus far, which has seen the arrival of a hyper-popular Major in the United Kingdom, one that was so energetic it has all but sealed the deal for future events. Next, we’ve got Major 3, which will be held in Paris and promises to be the biggest Call of Duty tournament ever, in terms of fan engagement.
Recently, a drastic competitive shakeup was revealed, with the game’s professional players opting to GA both the M15 and the Dravec, the go-to AR and SMG weapons of choice for Black Ops 7’s meta. Following major changes to both weapons, they’ve been deemed unviable and grounds for replacement in the meta.
CDL Loadouts Are About to Change
The Call of Duty League’s slate of GAs has reportedly changed dramatically, with players opting to remove the M15 AR and Dravec SMG from the pool. This follows recent amendments to both weapons that have brought about a hit on their range capabilities, amongst other things.
In recent days, the game’s best players were bagging on the weapons, adding further fuel to the GA fire:
In response, a GA has reportedly been set up, with the duo of weapons being replaced with the MPC, KOGOT, and VOYAK. The VOYAK KT-3 and KOGOT-7 are both ‘DLC weapons’ that were introduced in recent season updates, which is relatively unconventional where meta weapons are concerned, but the MPC has been a touted alternative to the Dravec since day one.
Some of Call of Duty’s most prolific players have been spotted on social media discussing the new GA and proposed weapon switches:
Presently, the Call of Duty League is on a mid-Major hiatus and will return on Friday, April 17. That break follows the dominating performance of FaZe Vegas at Major 2 in the UK, a run that saw the team decimate OpTic Texas in the grand final to secure the trophy.
