British Army Claims Victory at Call of Duty Endowment Bowl

The British Army Esports team managed to secure a big win at this year’s Call of Duty Endowment Bowl, the seventh iteration of the charitable tournament. This event saw the coming together of ten esports organizations, all backed in some way by a military force or government body.

The British Army, represented by BennyCentral and Jukeyz, managed to beat the likes of the U.S. Army Esports, the Air Force, Coast Guard, and even Space Force Gaming.

British Army Wins Big at C.O.D.E. Bowl

On June 20, ten military and government organizations travelled to San Diego to participate in one of Call of Duty’s most charitable esports endeavours, the Call of Duty Endowment Bowl. It has been running for almost a decade, and it seeks to raise awareness and funds for veterans searching for gainful employment after leaving the armed forces, wherever they are.

To date, The Endowment has managed to find work for 169,000 veterans – and counting.

This weekend, ten teams came together in San Diego to fight for bragging rights:

  • U.S. Army Esports
  • Space Force Gaming
  • Air Force Gaming
  • British Army Esports
  • Marine Corps Gaming
  • Royal Navy Esports
  • Royal Air Force Esports
  • RCAF Game Force
  • Coast Guard Gaming
  • U.S. Navy Esports

Some of the most recognizable players in the business fought in a Warzone-based tournament, including JoeWo, Huskerrs, Teep, Swagg, Zyro, and Fifakill, but it was the British Army Esports pair of BennyCentral and Jukeyz that won the competition.

It wasn’t even close, either. The duo walked away with 154 points, leaving the U.S. Navy team in second place with 121.5 points. At the far opposite end of the spectrum sat the U.S. Marine Corps, represented by Repullze and Legiqn, with just 24 points.
