The team behind Delta Force, the free-to-play first-person shooter, has unveiled the Delta Force RISE Series and a full suite of partnered esports organizations. The action surrounding this all-new esports circuit starts on July 10, and it has attracted the eager attention of some of the biggest esports teams in the business.
Delta Force, which was developed by Team Jade and is published by Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group, remains one of the world’s most popular free shooters after almost two years on the market.
Delta Force Wants To Own Extraction Esports
‘Extraction esports’ isn’t a very common term heard around the competitive gaming space. Truth be told, it’s not the best genre for an esports ecosystem, but TiMi, Team Jade, and Delta Force are refusing to let that hamper their efforts.
Earlier today, the team revealed the future of Delta Force’s esports circuit with the RISE Series.
As the team said, they’re ‘building the future of extraction esports with the best.’
Here’s the list of global partner teams signed up to work with the Delta Force team:
- The Alliance
- Aurora
- Evil Geniuses
- FaZe Clan
- FLC
- Fluxo W7M
- GenG
- Gotaga
- Leviatán
- Nadeshot
- NTMR
- Spacestation
- SPF
- Team Liquid
- WLGaming
That roster represents some of the finest and most tenured esports organizations in the industry today, which is great news for anyone tuning in to watch some Delta Force-based esports action. It’s almost guaranteed that they secured whopping bags to compete, considering Delta Force has a very young esports scene with little in the way of viewership.
But this could be a turning point in that respect. The extraction esports space has been dominated all these years by Escape from Tarkov, and even then, it typically boasts smaller, grassroots events with minuscule prize pools.

Delta Force might not have the legs that Escape from Tarkov does, but it seems to have deeper pockets, as some of the prize pools in the last couple of years have been substantial, almost touching $1 million during some events.
