Battlefield 6’s Top Gun collaboration brings Wake Island, two-seat fighter jets and the new Carrier Strike and Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep modes.
A trailer for the collaboration dropped on August 13 on YouTube.
Battlefield 6 Adds Top Gun’s Rooster, Bob and Warlock

Additionally, this update will allow players to control iconic characters from the franchise. Lt. Bradley “Rooster” Bradshaw (Miles Teller), Lt. Robert “Bob” Floyd (Lewis Pullman), and Adm. Solomon “Warlock” Bates (Charles Parnell) are all named as characters featured in the update. Rooster was even featured in the trailer.
This update is releasing on August 18 and it’s part of what is being called the biggest season of Battlefield 6 yet. On that same day, the title will begin an extensive free trial period. Anything you unlock during this free trial will remain part of your account should you decide to actually purchase the full game. However, there is a catch.
To access the free trial of Battlefield 6, you must download a different title: the game’s battle royale mode, REDSEC. The free trial will run from August 18 to August 25.
