There’s a lot to consider in Wildcard, whether it’s deciding on the perfect loadout or picking your game-changing Wildcards. These special abilities are infrequent, but their effects can level the playing field in a matter of seconds.
Wildcard isn’t too dissimilar in its MOBA, arena-battling setup. But its wild array of unique Summons and Champions makes each game feel different. While Wildcard is in its Playtest period, there is only a handful of Wildcards to consider right now, but we’ll still go into them and give you a handy guide to pop back into.
What Are Wildcards in Wildcard?
Wildcards are instant abilities that can be acquired during a match and can apply huge bonuses to Champions and Goalies in WIldcard.
You can assign up to three of them to your loadout, but it can take a while before you get to use one of them.
Here are the official parameters surrounding Wildcards: “Wildcards are randomly drawn during a match and become available at a Wildcard spawn point.”
We’ll have to see if more are added over time. I’ve owned quite a few Packs, and haven’t gotten any new Wildcards from them. There might be other ways to do so, or a future Wildcard update could include one or two new ones to choose from.
Every Wildcards Ability Confirmed so Far
For now, you have five different Wildcards to choose from. They can increase Maximum Health, decrease Cooldowns, and even offer a huge boost to Mana.
