A Galactic Battle is taking place in Fortnite, with Star Wars the focus of the mini season, and there are a bunch of story quests to complete, although they may not appear in your quests menu.
Fortnite story quests are a great way to earn XP and surge through the battle pass, with more quests expected to be added as the season progresses and Epic Games implements the weekly updates already described.
We’re here to direct you to all the Fortnite story quests this season, along with tips on how to complete them quickly.
All Galactic Battle Fortnite Story Quests
There are currently five Fortnite Story Quests to complete in Chapter 6 Season 3, although the task is made harder as they’re hidden from view in the quests menu and must be uncovered. Fortunately, we can direct you to them all and provide tips on how to complete them.
Bring a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber to General Grievous
General Grievous is found on the hill northeast of Rolling Blossoms Farm, providing a bunch of XP the first time he is interacted with, but the big reward comes when a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber is delivered to him—although this might take a few games to achieve.
Find a blue hologram on the map with Rey to interact with and earn a Jedi Padawan Lightsaber, along with the Force Push ability, and then head to General Grievous to deliver it. Unfortunately, there is no guaranteed spawn for a Rey hologram and it’s luck of the draw.
For this quest, I recommend playing as normal and turning your attention to General Grievous when you have acquired a Lightsaber, though it’s best to drop fairly nearby to reduce the travel time later down the line.
Destroy Structures With X-Wing Weapons
Although this particular quest sounds simple enough, and largely is, there is a specific method to activate it and jumping into any X-Wing you find won’t trigger the quest. Instead, talk with Poe Dameron at the Resistance Base and select the “Flight Lessons” interaction option.
Once that is done, fight an X-Wing nearby and fly around to destroy structures. There’s plenty around the Resistance Base, so you don’t need to travel far, and I found focusing on small structures like boxes and fences the quickest way to complete the challenge, rather than directly targeting buildings.
When all the structures are destroyed, return to Poe to hand in the quest and receive a chunk of XP, along with a legendary A280-CFE Blaster Rifle.
Retrieve The Rebel Data Log Entry
Four Rebel Data Logs are found around Rebel Outposts or the Resistance Base, which need to be interacted with to complete the quest. However, you don’t need to visit all four different locations.
In a game, interact with Rebel Data Logs, which are marked on your map when you are nearby, to tick them off. If you are eliminated from a game, you can return to the same Data Log and earn progress towards the quest—so if you want to, find one at a spot you want, then repeat the process.
It may be quicker to do them all in one game, however, and the Resistance Base in the best location for this, as several are waiting to be found. Just keep an eye out for any nearby enemies.
Retrieve Stormtrooper Data Log Entry
Similarly to the Rebel Logs, four Stormtrooper Data Logs are waiting to be found. However, all four are at the same location; Vader Samurai’s Solitude.
Inside the buildings, interact with the four Data Log Entries, which are marked on the map when nearby, to quickly tick off this challenge. However, be careful of enemies and the Vader boss himself, as this is a popular landing zone. I highly recommend eliminating any nearby enemies and NPCs before you start hunting for the Data Logs.
Alternatively, visit the location later in a match when Vader and the nearby Stormtroopers have already been eliminated, which also makes it less likely you will encounter other players as the area has already been looted—although this depends on how far into the match you are and the current size of the zone.
Fix The TIE Fighter
Imperial TIE Fighters are found in several locations this season but the quest to fix the TIE Fighter must be done at a specific spot—a fork in the road directly south of Flooded Frogs. Once there, follow these steps:
- Investigate the terminal to activate the mini quest.
- Find three lots of Fuel in the area around the broken TIE Fighter, marked with white diamonds and exclamation points on the mini map.
- Once all fuel is collected, interact with the broken TIE Fighter and hold the repair prompt.
The TIE Fighter is then available to use once repaired. However, be wary of nearby enemies also looking to complete the quest and take the TIE Fighter for themselves.
