Civilization 7 PC Requirements Revealed – What Do You Need To Run The Game?

Developer Firaxis has revealed the full PC requirements for the upcoming release of Sid Meier’s Civilization 7. The information comes via social media post on Thursday.

In addition to the game’s PC system requirements, the developers said that while the game will be coming to MacOS and Linux/SteamOS, they don’t have the requirements for those operating systems just yet.

If you are planning on picking up the game on console, you obviously don’t have to worry about machine specs. But if you want to know if you can run the game on your machine, you can see all of the information below.

Civilization 7 PC System Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graphics Preset: Low
  • Resolution: 1080p
  • FPS: 30 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 / AMD Ryzen 3 1200
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 / AMD RX 460 / Intel Arc A380
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Storage: 20 GB SSD
  • Operating System: Windows 10 / 11 64-Bit
  • DirectX: Version 12

Recommended Requirements:

  • Graphics Preset: Medium
  • Resolution: 1080p
  • FPS: 60 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
  • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2060 / AMD RX 6600 / Intel Arc A750
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Storage: 20 GB SSD
  • Operating System: Windows 10 / 11 64-Bit
  • DirectX: Version 12

Ultra Requirements:

  • Graphics Preset: High
  • Resolution: 4K
  • FPS: 60 FPS
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-14700F / AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 / AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
  • Memory: 32 GB RAM
  • Storage: 20 GB SSD
  • Operating System: Windows 10 / 11 64-Bit
  • DirectX: Version 12

Civilization 7 is scheduled to release on February 11, 2025. In addition to PC, Mac and Linux, the game will also launch the same day on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
