As far as first major releases go for a studio, Liquid Swords is going big with Samson. The action-packed adventure is filled with street brawling and car crashing, and it’s shaping up to be a hell of a release.
However, there does remain some uncertainty regarding which platforms it will be releasing on. Whilst the driving and city of Tyndalston might give you GTA vibes, that doesn’t guarantee that the game will arrive on consoles.
Well, fear not, as Insider Gaming is here to clear up all confusion. Here’s whether you can play Samson on PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.
Is Samson On PlayStation?
Unfortunately, it’s bad news for PlayStation fans, as Samson will not be releasing on the PS5—at least not at launch.
As things stand, Samson will launch exclusively on PC, both on the Epic Games Store and Steam. The reason provided by the developers is that, due to their studio being so small, launching on PC first allows them to deliver the best possible version of the game, without spreading themselves too thin.

But don’t worry, as they make it clear that Samson will be arriving on consoles, just at a later date. You can imagine that once the game is released, and in a fully updated state, Liquid Swords’ next focus will be on porting the game onto consoles.
Is Samson On Xbox?
It’s the same story as PlayStation, as Samson will not be released on Xbox Series X|S alongside the PC launch.
That being said, the devs made it clear that console releases were to follow, and it’d be surprising to see Samson miss out on an Xbox port. However, you never know these days, as some games have been known to skip Xbox in the past, but as things stand, it’s fair for Xbox fans to assume that Samson should arrive on the console in the future.
Is Samson On Nintendo Switch?
Rounding off the consoles, it’s a resounding no: Samson is not on either of the Nintendo Switch consoles, but it’s unclear if it ever will be.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is notably more powerful than the original console, with it being able to run the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 with ease. So, it shouldn’t be out of the question that Samson couldn’t appear on the Nintendo Switch 2, but it’s definitely more of a grey area. It’s best to await further details from the developers, rather than get your hopes up in case it’s a disappointing result.
