Sandfall Interactive Tight-Lipped About Clair Obscur’s Future

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 had a breakout year in 2025. Now, Sandfall Interactive is looking at what’s next for the franchise. Unfortunately, much like the mafia, if they told you about it, they’d have to kill you. At least that’s what they said during a recent interview.

During an interview at GDC, Sandfall Interactive’s lead writer, Jennifer Svedberg-Yen, was asked where she wants the franchise to go next. However, she remained completely tight-lipped.

“If I told you, I’d have to kill you. I’m sorry. I would love to tell people, because, as my husband knows, I cannot keep a secret. I love sharing information. I just want to share everything with everybody. But no, I cannot. So sorry,” she told GamesRadar+

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Broke Records for Award Wins

Not only did the game set a new standard for what is possible with an AA budget, but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 also set a record for the number of awards it won. The game won the most Game of the Year Awards, with well over 400.
