Fortnite Teases Crossover with Super Meat Boy 3D

Fortnite has a new crossover on the horizon, and it is with none other than Team Meat’s upcoming title, Super Meat Boy 3D.

The upcoming title was revealed during last year’s Xbox Games Showcase and is scheduled to release on consoles and PC in 2026. It seems the game’s release date was revealed early, but we have yet to receive official confirmation. However, we now know with whom the game’s first collaboration will be.

Fortnite x Super Meat Boy 3D Coming Soon

The collaboration between Fortnite and Super Meat Boy 3D was confirmed in a post on the official Epic Games Store X account (formerly Twitter). However, no specific details about this crossover were shared; the post featured only the key art for Team Meat’s upcoming game, which displayed Fortnite’s logo on the side. The caption offered no hints, consisting solely of three steak emojis.

Based on past collaborations, there are various ways Fortnite could approach this crossover. Players should expect cosmetics for sure, as that is a part of almost every collaboration. Other than that, we could see a change towards Fortnite island, a new POI, maybe new abilities, or mythics. However, this is just speculation at the moment, and we will only know for sure when the official announcement arrives.

In other news, Fortnite’s PvE Save the World mode will become free-to-play for all players in April 2026. Additionally, the developers have announced changes to the prices of V-Bucks and Battle Passes. What do you think the Fortnite x Super Meat Boy 3D collaboration will entail?
