Cyberpunk 2077 Devs Have ‘No Plans’ for Additional DLCs

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that they currently have no intention of creating new DLCs or expansions for Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is back in the news this month, thanks to its arrival on Xbox Game Pass Premium and Ultimate, allowing Series X/S and Xbox One players to check out CD Projekt Red’s hit title from 2020. This made players wonder whether more content was coming, but it doesn’t seem like that anymore.

Don’t Expect Any New Content for Cyberpunk 2077

In the announcement post for Cyberpunk 2077’s arrival on Xbox Game Pass, a fan asked the developers when the “secret new DLC” would arrive. The devs responded and shattered all the community’s hopes, stating that they have “no plans for additional DLCs or expansions. If anything changes, we will inform you all! So it seems like players will not get to try out any new Cyberpunk content for at least another four to five years, since the sequel is planned for then.

However, there might be another older game that CD Projekt Red might have new content planned for, and that’s none other than The Witcher 3. There have been multiple reports of a rumoured expansion for the game, seemingly arriving in May 2026 and taking players to a new region. But the developers haven’t officially confirmed any of these details, so players should take this information with a grain of salt.

In other news, Epic Games has teased another Cyberpunk 2077 x Fortnite collaboration on social media. Additionally, the developers have explained why the game works so well in first-person.
