Epic Games is preparing to expand on the collaboration between Fortnite and Cyberpunk 2077 that debuted at the tail end of 2024. In a new post on social media, the team revealed something coming soon that bridges the gap between the two gaming brands, and fans have been theorizing what it might be.
The leading assumption is that it’s tied to Arasaka in some way, the iconic mega-corporation around which much of the 2020 open-world RPG revolves. Most likely, it’ll be something linked to Adam Smasher, the terrifying cyborg character who appeared in the game more than five years ago.
Fortnite x Cyberpunk 2077 is Happening Again
In December 2024, Epic Games unveiled a Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration, bringing the game’s universe into that of Fortnite, the popular battle royale title.
Now, on social media, the same team is teasing what’s assumed to be a similar venture:
For now, there’s no indication of what this collaboration might be, beyond your standard cosmetics crossover concept. There are stacks of characters that could make their way into Fortnite from the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, but who would it be? Fans are taking their guesses on social media, and the leading pick is either Adam Smasher, Male V, or Panam.
Many have also asked for the legendary Johnny Silverhand’s Porsche to make an appearance, but that’s a little trickier when it comes to licensing.
In recent Fortnite news, users were discussing an incoming Game of Thrones crossover, expanding the list of hundreds of franchises that have linked forces with Epic’s battle royale universe.
