First Two Wrestlers Set for WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 3

The first two WWE Superstars have been announced for the third season of the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass. One is a freshly returned WWE Superstar, and the other is a legend who has held numerous titles.

Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, is making his return to WWE 2K games as part of the third season of the Ringside Pass. He announced his return in a video on social media. The last time Cardona was in a game was WWE 2K20 in 2019. Cardona was released by WWE in 2020 and recently returned to WWE.

While he was away, he was a playable character in the game Retromania Wrestling.

WWE 2K26 Will Feature A ‘Loose Cannon’ As Well

In addition to Matt Cardona, WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 3 will also include the legendary Brian Pillman. Pillman’s inclusion was announced by his son, current WWE NXT Superstar Lexis King. King mentioned that he was excited for players to play as both him and his father, and hopefully make them a tag team.

Brian Pillman hasn’t been featured in a WWE video game in 10 years. His last appearance was in WWE 2K17. Pillman, who passed away in 1997, made his video game debut in WCW Superbrawl on the Super Nintendo back in 1994. He would also be featured in the 2000s Legends of Wrestling video game series.

WWE 2K26 Sees the Return of Demolition As Well

In addition to these announcements, it was revealed during the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw that Ax and Smash, Demolition, would be featured in the second season of the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass. This will be the first time Ax and Smash have been featured in a game since WWE ’12 in 2011.

Like Cardona, Ax, and Smash are in Retromania Wrestling. That game is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch consoles. It’s also available on PC via Steam.

According to Visual Concepts, Season 2 of the Ringside Pass will be available in April before WrestleMania 42, which begins on April 18. Season 3 of the Ringside Pass will be available in June. Learn more about the choice behind the new DLC system at this link.

WWE 2K26 hits Early Access on March 6 for those who purchased premium editions. It will release globally on March 13.
