Ahead of the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase on February 5, a reliable leaker has shared news about a potential massive 2024 title coming to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Nate the Hate claimed on his podcast discussing the forthcoming Direct that he has heard Black Myth: Wukong will be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. He could not confirm whether the game would be showcased in the February Nintendo Direct, but he remains confident it will arrive on Nintendo’s latest home console.
The game sold tens of millions of copies early in its lifecycle and was named best action game at the 2024 Game Awards.
The Future of the Black Myth Franchise
No downloadable content has ever dropped for the popular Journey to the West-inspired title. However, a reveal trailer for Black Myth: Zhong Kui was shown at Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025.
That game is not expected to be a direct sequel to Wukong, but Game Science has indicated that more could follow from that specific story in the future. Still, it remains unclear if Black Myth: Wukong’s story will continue through a direct sequel in a new title or via DLC for the original game. Learn more about that here.
Insider Gaming will have full coverage of the Nintendo Direct on February 5.

Forgot about this game did it release on Xbox? But China needs to finally release Hitori No Shita The Outcast game The Hidden Ones change the name back to the shows and dub the show in English, Showa American Story been waiting forever on that was supposed to release last year still nothing, and Ananta. LoL I played this game when it first launched on Steam and PS5… Yeah think I will pass on playing it on anything lower spec LoL. The game ran like cheeks even on a 4080 with 64gb of RAM. Unless they plan on really dropping the graphics of the game, which was one of the main selling points… just how pretty the game looked,… Then I dont see how it could run in a playable fashion on the Switch 2. I guess I never really looked into how the game plays on the Series S though
