According to the latest developments, fans think Mario Kart World might be getting a Donkey Kong Bananza DLC soon.
Mario Kart World has been out for a few months now, released alongside Nintendo’s new console, the Switch 2. The title has been performing really well, with sales nearly on par with the Nintendo Switch 2 itself. Now, players are hungry for some DLC content, and it seems like there’s a chance we might get one soon.
Mario Kart World x Donkey Kong Bananza DLC On the Way?
Spotted by GamesRadar+, there have been some interesting developments in the past day, leading fans to speculate that Mario Kart World is getting a DLC. So here’s what’s new: Mario Wiki has been updated with new information, revealing that Donkey Kong Bananza’s main villain, King K. Rool’s animation, has been added to the Nintendo Today app, set to play from December 15, which is after The Game Awards.
What’s interesting is that Nintendo has avoided marketing Donkey Kong Bananza’s King K. Rool until now, and the decision to add the character’s animation to the app after The Game Awards has fans wondering if an announcement might be on the way. What’s more, King K. Rool’s voice actor, Tsuguo Mogami, and Void Kong’s VA, Yū Hayashi, were spotted in Mario Kart World’s credits as well. However, players should note that this is speculation, and there has been no official news from Nintendo confirming or even hinting at a Mario Kart World x Donkey Kong Bananza DLC.
