UPDATE: IO Interactive has confirmed that 007 First Light has been delayed on the Nintendo Switch 2. In a social media post, the studio says that the game will now come to the platform, “later this summer.”
“007 First Light comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on May 27th, 2026, and Nintendo Switch 2 later this summer,” they said. “We’re excited to see players discovering James Bond’s reimagined origin story, and we are looking forward to bringing you the best game experience possible across all platforms.”
Original story below.
A new rumor has claimed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been delayed indefinitely.
The new rumor comes from rumormonger ‘Graczdari’ (thanks PPE.pl), who previously leaked release dates for games including Starfield and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 for the PlayStation, as well as the existence of a boxed version of Oblivion Remastered.
According to a screenshot he posted, which appears to show an internal shipping system, IO Interactive’s Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light has been ‘delayed’.
It seems like all the other versions are still on track for their intended May 27, 2026, release date.

As of the time of writing, IO Interactive is yet to comment on the delay, but if one is released, we will update this article.
“From stealth to shootouts, 007 First Light delivers high-stakes spycraft, explosive combat, and the ultimate test of your skills,” the game description for 007 First Light reads.
