It appears that some fortunate players have received their copy of Battlefield 6 early, days before the full launch later this week.
The EA title is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year and, if beta numbers are any indication, looks set to blow rival title Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 out of the water, with fans eagerly awaiting Friday’s release.
However, it seems that some players who opted for the physical edition of Battlefield 6 have got their hands on the game early—and it’s said to be playable, too.
Battlefield 6 Copies Arrive Early

On the official Battlefield Reddit, a player posted an image of a PlayStation 5 version of Battlefield 6 in their hands, with the post submitted four days before the October 10 release date.
Though some speculated this means nothing, as the game would not be playable until the full release, the user followed up to confirm that the servers appear to be online, meaning they can jump in already.
Of course, with the majority of the world anxiously waiting for the launch, finding an online match may be difficult, particularly in modes with larger lobbies, but they will be able to get a head start in the campaign, at least.
It’s not clear where the player pre-ordered their copy from, or if other players have also received their copies early, but it’s not too surprising, as this almost always happens with physical editions of games.
It’s unlikely to provide much of an advantage for players who get the game early, though, but it will provide a hefty chunk of internet clout points and bragging rights.
