Battlefield 6 has set some great records with the recent betas, if these stats are anything to go by. The highly anticipated shooter, revealed earlier last month, has been the talk of the gaming scene for quite a bit and for good reason.
Over the past two weekends, players have been able to play the newest entry, which launches on October 10th. Now, after ending the 17th, EA has announced some stats regarding the playtests, and they are staggering.
Battlefield 6 Betas Achieve Record Amount of Players
In a post on Twitter, the team gave some insights on the betas, both with numbers and feedback. The most notable information was that the playtests raked in what they said was the most players ever in any of their betas. Granted, given the game has been anticipated by fans since the lackluster Battlefield 2042, it’s not too surprising. However, the other statistics are quite impressive, especially since they were only for a few days. Some interesting stats can be found below:
- Total Matches Played: 420,127,450
- Hours of Gameplay: 92,351,578
- Enemies Killed: 4,928,771,770
- Friendlies Revived: 30,936,675
- Final Destruction Receipt: $196,760,386,367
Also notable are the class rankings, as a majority of players, 32% to be precise, chose Assault, followed by Support and Engineer. Recon was the least likely class to play at 19%. Fortunately, for those who may have missed out, it seems like more betas may be on the way. Overall, it’s looking like, should Battlefield 6 keep the same numbers at it’s October 10th launch, could be one of the year’s best-selling titles.
