How To Easily Complete All ARC Raiders Trials This Week (April 20)

There’s one week to go until the major Riven Tides update arrives in ARC Raiders, but there’s still a fresh set of Trials to complete in the meantime. These objectives change weekly, as do the rewards, and if you’re gearing up for the new wave of ARC, they’re a great way to earn some extra loot.

Every week, there are five Trials for you to work on, and you’ll need to earn 4,000 points for each one to three-star them. You’ll gain points by completing activities tied to the Trial, and if you manage to earn three stars, there’s a chance you’ll also earn some high-tier rewards—blueprints included.

In this guide, you’ll find out what the latest batch of Trials are in ARC Raiders, as well as the best method to complete each one.

Every Trial In ARC Raiders (April 20-27)

There are five new Trials in ARC Raiders this week, and they’ll be pitting you against the biggest ARC enemies in the game—at least, until the Riven Tides update.

Here’s the full list of Trials for this week:

  • Open ARC Probes
  • Damage flying ARC enemies inside the Spaceport walls (Spaceport)
  • Open containers inside the traffic tunnels (The Blue Gate)
  • Damage Fireflies
  • Damage Queens or Matriarchs

Remember that completing Trials during an active Major Map Condition will double the amount of points that you earn. Luckily, Insider Gaming has a nifty Map Condition Tracker, so you can schedule when it’s best to grind out your weekly Trials.

How To Complete ‘Open ARC Probes’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

An easy Trial returns this week in the shape of opening ARC Probes. These are located on most maps in ARC Raiders, but they’re found in abundance during the Electromagnetic Storm event.

These Probes are easy to find thanks to their loud, pinging sound that they emit. However, they’ll be even louder whilst you breach them, so make sure no enemy ARC are nearby.

The quickest way to complete this Trial is during the Electromagnetic Storm event, which happens on the following maps:

  • Spaceport
  • The Blue Gate
  • Dam Battlegrounds

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into any map with the Electromagnetic Storm event.
  2. Search for multiple Probes, and breach/search them.
  3. Successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Damage Flying ARC Enemies Inside The Spaceport Walls’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

In this Trial, you’ll be confined to within the walls of Spaceport, which you can see outlined in the graphic above.

So long as you’re within the walls, this Trial is incredibly simple. Just shoot down any and all flying ARC that you can see across the map. These include:

  • Snitch
  • Spotter
  • Wasps
  • Hornets
  • Fireflys
  • Rocketeers
  • Vaporizers

Rocketeers will grant you the most points towards your three stars, and many of them spawn within the walls, so finding them shouldn’t be difficult. Just destroy one of those, and sweep up the rest of the points with Wasps and Hornets.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into Spaceport, ideally during a Major Map Condition.
  2. Make your way into the confines of the Walls.
  3. Shoot down any and all flying ARC enemies.
  4. Once you’ve achieved three stars, successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Open Containers Inside The Traffic Tunnels’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

The third Trial of the week will see you entering the Traffic Tunnels in The Blue Gate, where you’ll need to open as many containers as possible.

If this Trial sounds similar, that’s because it is! Just a few weeks ago, you were tasked with the same objective, except the map condition was limited to Locked Gate. Thankfully, this time around, you won’t have to open the tunnels, as the Trial can be completed on the base map.

Of course, if you’re looking to complete it quicker or earn more points, you’ll want to complete it during a Major Map Condition, but it might be worth waiting for Hurricane or Electromagnetic Storm so you don’t need to go through the hassle of opening the Locked Gate.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into The Blue Gate, ideally during a Major Map Condition.
  2. Head down into the Traffic Tunnels, and open any and all containers.
  3. Once you’re opened enough, successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Damage Fireflies’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

Fireflies were added with the Shrouded Sky update to ARC Raiders, and whilst they’re simple enough to take down, they can still deal a significant amount of damage if you’re not careful.

These flying ARC can spawn on any map, and they’re essentially a souped-up Wasp with an underbelly flamethrower. That said, they’re far more armored, even more so than the Hornet, so you’ll need to chip away at its thrusters if you want to take them down.

With that in mind, it’s best to use a heavy weapon, like an Anvil or Ferro, as they should make short work of the plating. Just try to shoot them down before they get too close, and be warned, as they tend to spawn in packs with other flying ARC—if they band together, you could be in for a rough time.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Load into any map, ideally during a Major Map Condition.
  2. Roam the surface and keep an eye out for Fireflies: they spawn like Wasps and Hornets, rocketing down from the sky.
  3. Take them out as and when you see them: you’ll need five or six to three-star the Trial.
  4. Once you’ve earned your points, successfully extract.

How To Complete ‘Damage Queens Or Matriarchs’ Trial In ARC Raiders—Tips & Tricks

Prepare for a hefty fight. Image by Insider Gaming.

As the Trial suggests, you’ll need to go toe-to-toe with ARC Raiders’ most dangerous foes, either the Queen or the Matriarch.

These elite enemies will only spawn on their related map condition. The Queen spawns during ‘The Harvester’ event, whilst the Matriarch spawns on the aptly titled ‘Matriarch’ event. To deal damage to these titans, though, you’re going to need a solid loadout.

Here are some recommended pieces of kit to take on your next raid if you plan to fight a Queen or Matriarch:

  • Anvil / Ferro / Bettina / Hullcracker
  • Stitcher / Venator / Kettle
  • Medium Shield
  • 10x Shield Rechargers
  • 5x Herbal Bandages / 10x Bandages / 3x Defibs
  • 2x Wolfpacks / 2x Deadline Mines / Snap Hook (Optional)

If you’re looking for the best place to fight one of these, then consider the Blue Gate Harvester Event. The Queen that spawns will guard the Harvester, but she can be lured a little bit away to a convenience store that serves as a great bit of cover.

For a step-by-step guide, follow the process below:

  1. Successfully extract.
  2. Load into Blue Gate during the Harvester event.
  3. Head to the convenience store just to the left of the Gate Approach.
  4. Shoot the Queen to get its attention, and then duck inside the store—it shouldn’t be able to hurt you inside.
  5. Whilst it’s over the store, shoot at its legs with your Heavy Weaponry.
  6. If the face is visible, shoot at the small panels on either side of the central red light. This will reveal the core.
  7. Aim for the core when you can to do some serious damage, or continue to chip away at its armor.
  8. Once you three-star the event, you can either head to the extract or continue until the Queen is killed.

If you manage to get three stars for each Trial, there’s a strong chance you’ll earn some juicy loot. Share your hauls in the official Insider Gaming Discord Server.
