The Darksiders series is back as Darksiders 4 was revealed during the 2025 THQ Nordic Digital Showcase.
The reveal happened at the end event with a short teaser trailer in which, about halfway through, War comes in to deliver the line “No. Not Alone”.
“The legendary saga of the Four Horsemen continues in Darksiders 4, an all-new action-adventure set in an apocalyptic version of earth and continues where the original Darksiders game left off,” the game’s description reads. “Darksiders 4 is a 3rd person action adventure game featuring combat, traversal and puzzle solving in a lore rich post apocalyptic world.”

Features include the ability to choose on the Horsemen, each having their own unique weapons and combat styles. Players will also “journey through apocalyptic landscapes – each teeming with secrets, enemies, and mythic bosses.”
Darksiders 4 is currently in development and will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. No release date or window was announced with the reveal.
