Lords of the Fallen Gets Permanent Price Cut

Lords of the Fallen’s price has been permanently reduced on consoles and PCs, now available for $29.99.

The price cut for Lords of the Fallen arrives with a brand new patch, v2.0.55. The latest patch introduces some features and improvements, bug fixes, and additional notes from the developers, CI Games. However, first, let’s explore why the price of Lords of the Fallen was decreased.

Lords of the Fallen Price Cut by More than 50% on Consoles

The CEO of CI Games, Marek Tyminski, recently posted about a price cut for Lords of the Fallen on X (formerly Twitter). Tyminski’s tweet states that Lords of the Fallen’s price is now permanently set at $ 29.99/€29.99/£24.99, which was previously $69.99 on console and $59.99 on PC. The CEO explained that it felt wrong to keep the game on full price when the physical copies are discounted, even though the latter costs “more per unit to make and sell.”

Moving on to the new patch, we will begin with the features and improvements. An issue where certain unlockable classes were inaccessible on affected save files has been fixed. Walking and running animations have been enhanced for all characters to provide smoother and more natural movement during exploration and combat. Lastly, PvP reward drop rates and loot pools have been adjusted “to promote fairness and variety”.

Coming to bug fixes, an issue where the note from Andreas of Ebb was missing from its intended location has been fixed in the new Lords of the Fallen patch. Additionally, a bug that prevented the Fief Door from unlocking properly has been fixed.

In other news, Nintendo is raising Switch prices in the United States. Additionally, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection will include MK Trilogy. What are your thoughts on Lords of the Fallen receiving a permanent price cut? Let us know through the official Insider Gaming forums discussion.
