A new era in the Pokémon TCG kicks off later this year with the release of Mega Evolutions, with leaks starting to emerge for cards in the new set. If you want to see the hits as soon as they appear, we’ve got the details you need.
Releasing September 28, Mega Evolutions features the return of Mega Evolutions to the TCG after years of absence, directly tying into Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and demand for products, including Elite Trainer Boxes, has been fierce already—showing how much of a demand there is.
That demand will only increase as more and more leaks for Mega Evolutions emerge, so we’ve got tips on how you can get ahead of the curve and see any reveals as soon as they happen.
All Mega Evolutions Card Leaks

Mega Evolutions cards have begun to leak ahead of their official reveal from The Pokémon Company, due to the Japanese versions of the set releasing over a month earlier.
Mega Symphonia and Mega Brave, the two Japanese sets that will make up the majority of the English Mega Evolutions cards, release on August 1. As we get closer to that launch, more artworks will be revealed that will be replicated in the English set.
Not every card in both sets will feature, however, with some being removed to be made as promos. For example, the Riolu and Alakazam Illustration Rare cards are the promos in the two versions of the Elite Trainer Boxes.
In the Pokémon Presents stream, official reveals of Illustration Rares and Special Illustration Rares were showcased, which we’ve assembled in the table below. We’ll add more leaks and announcements to this when available.

As we get closer to the launch of the two Japanese sets, more and more cards will be leaked, and we’ve got details on how you can keep on top of the latest.
How to Find More Mega Evolutions Card Leaks
The best place to find leaks of the Mega Evolutions set is on social media platforms like X and Reddit, where users will share images as they emerge.
Ahead of the Mega Symphonia and Mega Brave sets in Japan, streams will take place where packs are ripped, which is where the first leaked images start to emerge from. As they’re screenshots of a stream, however, the quality of the images can often be poor. Still, it’s a great way to get an early look.
One of the best accounts to follow for reveals as they happen is @PokeGetInfoMain, which shares posts in Japanese that can easily be translated on your web browser or mobile. If you’d prefer to stick with English channels, @Pokebeach and @SerebiiNet are must-follows.
