A new soccer season is right around the corner, which means a new title from EA Sports is also on the horizon, and we now know how long we need to wait for EA FC 26.
Following on from the reveal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic as a cover athlete, alongside leaks of new Heroes and new Icons coming in EA FC 26, the release date is now doing the rounds.

When Does EA FC 26 Release?
EA FC 26 is expected to release on Friday, September 26 worldwide, though this date is yet to be officially confirmed by EA Sports.
The release date was revealed ahead of an official announcement, along with the platforms the game will be available on, and, like always with EA Sports titles, there is a seven-day Early Access period available for those who purchase the Ultimate Edition.
With the Ultimate Edition, EA FC 26 will be available from September 19, the same date that a 10-hour trial becomes available with EA Access—which is included with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
EA FC 26 will be available on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, the latter for the first time, and will also release on the family of older generation consoles; Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the original Nintendo Switch.
What Time Does EA FC 26 Release?
EA FC 26 will be available at midnight local time on Friday, September 26, while those with Early Access can jump in on September 19.
Previous EA FC titles have seen early access begin at 10 am PT/12 pm CT/1 pm ET/6 pm AEST, with the same timeframe expected. Unlike the main release, the early access release is scheduled globally, so players around the world can jump in at the same time—though this may put a strain on servers.
For the full release on September 26, some options are available to jump the queue, depending on your platform, by changing your region to New Zealand. This has worked consistently for EA Sports releases and is likely to be the same for EA FC 26.
