Silent Hill f Opening Gameplay Scenes Leaked

Leaked footage of the opening gameplay scenes of Silent Hill f has been leaked online from a Konami panel.

The leaked footage, which was uploaded to YouTube by CGMagazine, shows the opening scenes of Silent Hill, giving us another glimpse of what to expect with the game. You can watch the footage below:

According to those at the event, phones and cameras were strictly prohibited at the panel, but one attendee seemingly ignored the rules and decided to record the footage anyway.

As for actual gameplay of the game, one attendee on Reddit pointed out that the clip is simply the opening scene of Silent Hill f, and that the only ‘actual’ gameplay shown is of Hinako walking down a path and approaching a shrine.

In an interview, Silent Hill f producer Motoi Okamoto revealed that the game will feature “unique combat”.

Okamoto elaborates on this by saying, “The encounters are as challenging as the obstacles that Hinako must overcome in life. The combat will have a heavier focus on melee and be more action-oriented compared to last year’s Silent Hill 2.”

So far, Silent Hill has been confirmed to feature four characters, Shimizu Hinako, Iwai Shu, Nishida Rinko, and Igarashi Sakuko. Four mosters have also been confirmed for the game, which are Kashimashi, Ayakakashi, Oi-omoi, and Ara-abare.

The game will be set in 1960s Japan, where teenager Shimizu Hinako lives in the small, remote town of Ebisugaoka, nestled in a mountain pass.

“Now, as she navigates the twisting paths of Ebisugaoka, Hinako must solve puzzles and fight for her life in her struggle to survive”, the game description reads.

Silent Hill f is scheduled to release on September 25, 2025 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
