Saber Interactive’s upcoming co-op PvE game called ‘Toxic Commando’ has had gameplay screenshots and information leaked online.

According to the leak, Saber Interactive’s upcoming title is somewhat similar to titles like Left 4 Dead or Back 4 Blood, but the game will have 2 key differences.
The leak reveals that the first major change is that missions are now tied to specific areas, rather than simply moving from point A to point B. The second significant change concerns vehicle movement around the maps.
It’s pointed out that vehicles in the game play a huge role, with them having fuel gauges that will run out unless the players find fuel. Vehicles can also be equipped with turrets for defense and different upgrades, including a louder horn to attract more zombies.
As for the game’s replayability, the leaker says that it’s similar to the other PvE co-op games, where you can select different difficulties, as well as leveling up various characters and weapons.
The leak also reveals that the game will feature a central hub or base of operations, where players can upgrade their gear, test their weapons, and more.
Toxic Commando Official Game Description
“In the near future, an experimental attempt to harness the power of the Earth’s core ends in a terrifying disaster: the release of the Sludge God. This eldritch abomination begins terraforming the area, turning soil to scum and the living… to undead monsters! However, the genius behind the experiment has a plan to make things right. All he needs is a team of competent, highly-trained mercenaries to get the job done. Unfortunately, those are all too expensive. Which is why he’s hired…
The Toxic Commandos!
Take control of one of the commandos, team up with your friends and send the Sludge God and its horde of things-that-should-never-be back to the underworld. Choose the class that matches your playstyle, pile into your favorite ride, and unload an array of gunfire, grenades, special abilities, and freaking katanas as you save the planet.”
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando is scheduled to release sometime in 2025 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
