A leak revealed the new class of ICONS coming to EA FC 26, and it’s much more than the usual number of additions.
FC 24 introduced eight new ICONS. EA FC 25 also introduced eight ICONS at launch, including the likes of Gianluigi Buffon, Gareth Bale, Lillian Thuram, and Julie Foudy. However, EA went one step further and added Diego Maradona and Franz Beckenbauer post-launch, bringing the total of new legends up to 10.
Based on the rumors, EA once again one-upped itself for FC 26.

Reliable FC leaker, FUT Sheriff, unveiled a list of new ICONS coming to EA FC 26, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and 11 more stars of the past.
Here is the complete list, along with their nation and expected position. The leak did not include their overalls or attribute ratings.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be a surprise, as the Swedish striker was outspoken in 2021 about EA using his name and likeness without his permission. EA clapped back in a strong statement shared with Forbes.
Ibrahimovic’s addition would imply that the protracted dispute is over. Meanwhile, Alex Morgan, Andres Iniesta, Toni Kroos, and Giorgio Chiellini all recently retired, making them perfect additions.
As for Oliver Kahn, he is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers of all time, and Francesco Totti was a prolific goal scorer, both for club and country in Italy.
