Sloclap has reached an incredible new milestone with Rematch, selling over 1 million copies in just 5 days.
Rematch has been making waves before it even launched, reaching some surprising Steam player numbers before the game even launched. On launch day, the game brought in one million unique players within the first 24 hours. Now, they have achieved an even higher milestone, selling one million units in just five days.
Rematch Has Already Sold 1 Million Units

Developer Sloclap announced that Rematch has already sold over 1 million units and surpassed 2.5 million players across all platforms, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The developers also provided some additional stats, with 69.12 million goalkeeper saves, 58.58 million goals scored, 33.54 million assists provided and 11.78 million matches played.
Rematch is the latest football-based multiplayer title by Sloclap that makes players feel like true athletes. In this title, players control only one character instead of the entire team, and their performance is based on their skill. The game features a third-person camera, some iconic football moves, and nonstop multiplayer action.
Insider Gaming’s review for Rematch scored it a 4 out of 5 (Great), stating, “It’s not perfect. But the foundation is incredibly strong, the fun far outweighs the flaws, and Sloclap has proven that it’s listening and iterating quickly. If this is Rematch at launch, I’m excited to see what it becomes.” Check out the full review here.
