Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 details were scheduled to be revealed at Capcom Spotlight later this week; however, PlayStation accidentally leaked them early.
Monster Hunter Wilds was off to a very successful start, fairing well with critics and players. However, it has recently been subject to a surge of negative reviews, with the community complaining about the title’s performance on PC and not having enough content. Hopefully, MHW’s free Title Update 2 can help address the complaints about the content.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 Releases on June 30

Spotted by Gematsu, PlayStation accidentally revealed the new content and the Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 release date. The now-deleted image revealed that MHW Title Update 2 will release on June 30, 2025. It will feature the return of two fan-favourite monsters, an arch-tempered version of a monster, new weapon customisation and additional content.
Regarding the two-fan favourite monsters, the first one is Lagiacrus and the other is expected to be Seregios, based on datamines. Players will be hunting the Arch-Tempered version of Uth Duna in MHW Title Update 2’s new event quest, which rewards them with a “unique (gamma) variant armor set”.
Coming to Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2’s new Weapon Customisation, players can take advantage of Layered Weapons in the upcoming update. The new feature allows players to customise the weapon’s appearance without affecting the stats or decoration. There is additional content to look forward to, such as Doshaguma Mask as a quest reward, a free gesture set and some “paid cosmetic DLC extras”.
