Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred’s Opening Cinematic Can Be Watched Right Now

The Blizzard team has cooked again with a visually stunning opening cinematic for Diablo 4’s latest Lord of Hatred expansion.

New Diablo 4 Lord of Hatred DLC details were revealed back in February 2026, where we learned that the expansion will introduce overhauled skill trees, the Warlock class, Talismans, the Horadric Cube, and more. Now, ahead of its release next week, the developers have released the opening cinematic for the DLC, which players can check out below:

The developers have also announced an overview of the upcoming expansion, which will provide an in-depth look at the content coming with Lord of Hatred and the other seasonal updates that are to come. The developers will also reveal the final launch details along with additional information on new features such as Class Skill Trees, the Talisman system, Horadric Cube, new endgame systems, and more.

For those unaware, the Lord of Hatred expansion will introduce 2 new classes (Paladin and Warlock), a new campaign, and the ancient region of Skovos to the world of Diablo 4. The new region of Skovos is the ancient birthplace of the firstborn civilization, now ruled by Orcale and Amazon. It features volcanoes, forests, sunken lands, and crumbled temples, which feature new towns, dungoes monsters, and more. Endgame has also been improved, allowing players to create their own endgame progression.

In other news, it seems that Diablo 4 could be coming to Switch 2 as the new expansion was recently rated for the platform. Additionally, here’s a guide on the start and end tiumes of the new season.
