A new rumor has surfaced that Halo Studios will make a big announcement for its Halo franchise later this year.
The rumor originates from Rebs Gaming, who has a tendency to release a slew of information surrounding the Halo franchise.
According to Rebs, he spoke to someone who attending the recent Dallas Open who allegedly spoke toa current Halo Studios developer. Allegedly, the Halo Studios developer said, “Halo Studios has a big announcement at the Halo World Championship in late October”.
What Does Halo Have Planned?
At face value, there isn’t really much to go on here, and taking one second-hand source as enough evidence to run with a story is a pretty bold move on Rebs part.
But that being said, it does seem about the right time for some kind of Halo announcement. Be that Halo moving onto the PlayStation or a tease of the next game, as Rebs rightfully points out in his video.
Halo Studios next game announcement is almost certainly going to wait for a bigger event to reach as many casual players as possible, so only time will tell on the announcement.
Earlier this year, Rebs also claimed that Halo Studios was gearing up for an announcement for its new Halo game this year. At the timr of writing, officially, Halo Studios has not entertained or announced any form of announcement of its next project.
