10 More Spider-Man 2 Easter Eggs You Need to See

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has an abundance of subtle easter eggs that require even the biggest fans to be vigilant. We’ve already covered 10 easter eggs in Spider-Man 2 before, but here are 10 more you need to see that make the game’s open world even more fun to explore.

10. VNM-252

While Spider-Man digs around in Dr Connors’ underground lab, you’ll find an empty container labeled VNM-252. This is likely a reference to The Amazing Spider-Man’s issue #252 where symbiote Spider-Man made his first appearance.

9. Jurassic Park

Jurassic Park reference as a Marvel's spider-man 2 easter egg

A Jurassic Park Easter Egg is the last thing you’d expect from a Spider-Man game but then again, Insomniac is full of surprises. While the lizard is wreaking havoc in the city you can spot a T-rex skeleton that looks suspiciously similar to the one in the classic movie.

8. Coney Island

Coney Island

Coney Island is the amusement park where Peter, Mary Jane, and Harry bond over fun games, thrilling rides, and wholesome conversations. However, it is more than just a memorable main story mission as it houses many easter eggs pertaining to multiple iconic Spider-Man villains including Doctor Octopus, Mantis, and many more.

7. Fantastic 4

Just like the Avengers, the Fantastic 4 seemingly refuse to lend Spidey a hand once in a while but at least they are in the game in the form of another easter egg you must see. You can visit the Baxter building that replaces one of Wilson Fisk’s buildings and upon inspection, you’ll find it has an unfinished “4” logo on the roof.

6. Avengers Tower

The world’s mightiest heroes are nowhere to be seen in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 but their headquarters are one of the most notable landmarks in the entire map. Here’s hoping we actually are able to inside it in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s inevitable sequel.

5. Rubik’s Cube

Peter solving a Rubik’s cube while skydiving is another must-see easter egg. Show off Peter’s genius by leaping off a high building, diving, holding down the square button, and then pulling the left analog stick down.

4. Stan Lee’s Cameo

Stan Lee’s Cameo in Marvel's spider-man 2 as an easter egg

Stan Lee may have sadly passed away but his spirit lives on in the form of yet another cameo. Insomniac paid tribute to the legend in the form of his statue that can be found in the Upper West district of the map making it an easter egg you must see.

3. Wakanda Forever

Wakanda Forever

Head over to Midtown as Miles Morales so you can pay your respects to the late actor Chadwick Bosman in what is another great easter egg in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Press the triangle button and perform the iconic Wakanda Forever pose at the Wakandan embassy.

2. Spider-Man’s First Comic Cover Art

Spider-Man’s first-ever comic features cover art that marks the beginning of Marvel’s most iconic superhero. This art can be seen in-game on a newspaper while doing the “Photo Help” side mission. It’s an amazing throwback and a neat little easter egg.

1.  X-Men

An abandoned mansion with a bunch of X symbols can be found in northern Astoria. It’s just another one of the best easter eggs you need to see in Spider-Man 2 that hints towards the existence of the X-Men in Insomniac’s Marvel Universe.
