The move comes just days before the launch of one of the most anticipated games in years, Starfield.

The removal, which was first spotted by XGP, comes after Microsoft had added the promotion back albeit with a caveat of just 14 days instead of a full month.
As mentioned, the promotional removal comes with Starfield set to launch in early access on August 31 in the United States. The game’s standard edition, which will be available on day one on Game Pass, becomes available on September 5.
For those without Game Pass, Starfield’s standard edition will cost $70 on either PC or Xbox Series X|S. Those who want to buy the game and play it five days earlier have to purchase the $100 Digital Premium Edition or own the $300 Constellation Edition.
The two latter versions of the game will also receive the first story expansion known as Shattered Space.
