World of Warcraft: Midnight Expansion Has A Release Date

The release date for the World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion has been discovered. While it was announced for a 2026 release, data miner billbil-kun has found the official date for the latest major expansion to the long-running franchise.

According to billbil-kun, via Dealabs, World of Warcraft: Midnight will launch on Tuesday, February 26, 2026.

In addition to the release date, the report gives information on the pricing and editions of the expansion that will be available for players. In addition to the base version of the expansion, Blizzard will be releasing a Collector’s Edition that includes a number of physical and digital bonuses.

According to the report, the Collector’s Edition will cost €139.99 (US pricing to come later) and includes:

  • Midnight Epic Edition game key with
    • Three days early access
    • 30 days of World of Warcraft play time
    • 2000 Deniers
    • Improved sesame for level 80
  • Midnight hardcover artbook
  • Midnight Collector’s Pin
  • Replica of the Dark Hart

In addition to the Collector’s Edition, World of Warcraft: Midnight will launch with a Base Edition, Heroic Edition, and Epic Edition. Lost versions of the game are available to pre-order now.
