As the name suggests, JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes players to the drift capital of the world, Japan. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming racing game.
It’s an excellent time to be a racing game fan. In April, Forza Horizon 5 became the Forza game on PlayStation, MotoGP 25 launched on April 30, and Mario Kart World releases worldwide on June 5.
Meanwhile, JDM has over 250 kilometers of open-world roads in the fictional Guntama prefecture. Players will experience traffic, dynamic weather, and day-night cycles as they race and drift through the mountains and city streets. Let’s jump right into when you can start racing.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master Release Date

JDM: Japanese Drift Master officially releases worldwide on May 21 for PC.
The game features a wide range of licensed vehicles, including brands like Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru. Players can also customize their rides in a paint shop.
Once players find their preferred vehicle, JDM features more than 40 narrative-driven events, additional sidequests, grip and drag races, drift battles, and more. And there are several genre-themed radio stations along with authentic car sounds to provide the most realistic experience possible.
Game Factory confirmed, “At the moment our main focus is on the PC version, and no console version is available.”
The development team didn’t rule out a console edition, but at launch, JDM will only be available for PC on Steam, Epic, and GOG.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master Start Times
Japanese Drift Master will be released on May 21 at 7 AM PDT; other regions will follow soon after.
Below are release times and dates for key time zones worldwide, including the United States, Australia, and more.
There is only one edition of the game, so players don’t need to worry about spending more to get early access. And JDM only supports single-player races, so there won’t be any cross-platform online races.
