Yoko Shimomura is synonymous with the games industry. She’s helped construct a litany of famous scores for some of gaming’s biggest releases. The composer has unfinished business with Street Fighter, though, as she’s returned with a new track for Street Fighter 6—to be released in an upcoming update.
1991’s Street Fighter 2 is the last association Yoko Shimomura had with the series. Since then, she’s sprinkled her creativity throughout Mario games, Final Fantasy, and pretty much every Kingdom Hearts title. Now, she’s back with a special song in Street Fighter 6.
