Stellar Blade was released for PC via Steam yesterday and has already reached record-breaking numbers; it has hit the highest all-time player peak for any single-player PlayStation Game on Steam.
Stellar Blade PC was released on June 11, 2025, introducing Eve and Shift Up’s take on a post-apocalyptic world to a whole new platform of players. Aside from the latest and previous content, players have also received exclusive features for PC, such as Ultrawide monitor support, PC optimised graphics, unlocked frame rate, texture pack support and more, which has definitely rubbed the players the right way.
Stellar Blade PC Achieves Highest All-Time Peak for Single-Player PlayStation Games
Thanks to Eurogamer, we now know how Stellar Blade PC compares to other single-player PlayStation games that were later ported to the platform. Stellar Blade PC sits at the top, achieving an all-time peak of 100,904 players (at the time of writing), completely smashing the previous record. The other games in the top 5 include Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut (77,154), God of War (73,529), Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered (66,436) and Horizon Zero Dawn: Complete Edition (56,557).
The only title with a higher player-peak than Stellar Blade is Helldivers 2, however, it is a multiplayer game and was released simultaneously on Steam and PlayStation.
Stellar Blade was already turning heads when the PC Demo was released, securing a ‘Very Positive’ review rating on Steam. Post-launch, the audience reception seems to be even better as the review rating has been changed to ‘Overwhelmingly Positive‘. Most players seem pleased with the port’s optimisation, with the game running pretty smoothly and providing stunning graphics with fluid combat.
In other news, here are the Stellar Blade PC system requirements. Also, mods for the game have already started appearing on Nexus, and they are as lewd as you can imagine.
