Silver and Blaze Revealed As Playable in Sonic PICO PARK

Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat are confirmed playable in Sonic PICO PARK. Watch the new trailer and learn more about its November 12 launch.

The crossover that brought Sega’s signature franchise into the world of PICO PARK has added even more playable characters, as a new YouTube trailer revealed. The game was first revealed at Summer Game Fest and offered several playable demos to the media.

Ahead of launch, Sega announced that Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat are the latest to join the indie title, one of many releases celebrating Sonic the Hedgehog’s 35th anniversary.

Sonic PICO PARK Expands Its Roster With Silver and Blaze

The latest trailer confirms that Silver the Hedgehog and Blaze the Cat will join Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose, Big the Cat, Cream, Cheese, and others for chaotic 8-player co-op action.

Silver the Hedgehog first joined the cast in the infamous Sonic 2006. Blaze the Cat debuted in the 2005 Sonic Rush game, exclusive to the Nintendo DS. Like so many Sonic characters, these two have expanded beyond their limited game appearances through other media and fan attention.

Sonic PICO PARK is still slated for release on November 12. Of course, November is expected to be dominated by Grand Theft Auto 6 (November 19) and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (November 5). Still, this game stands out as a simple co-op experience perfect for parties, so it may stand a chance against such heavy releases in November.

The Sonic team previously discussed this game, noting they learned a lot from the independent developers behind PICO PARK.
