Ronaldinho Gaúcho—AKA Ronaldinho—has been announced by developer Sloclap as Rematch’s ambassador. The statement also comes with news of Manchester United and FC Barcelona stars being in the sports title.
Rematch comes from the makers of Sifu and blends precision, teamwork, and over-the-top mechanics to create a seamless, 5v5 arcade title. It’s already had a successful beta, and another open beta is scheduled to arrive before launch. However, another revelation has come out of the blue: Soccer icon Ronaldinho is an ambassador.
Ronaldinho Features in Rematch With Manchester United and FC Barcelona Players
A press release from Sloclap has declared Ronaldinho as an ambassador for the game (hinting there could be more), and he will be “joining the starting line-up” in Rematch.
The announcement features a cool video of Ronaldinho exploring Sloclap’s studio and learning about how the game was made. He also got a sneak peek of his character model.
Furthermore, Sloclap has revealed that “Barcelona FC goalkeeper Marc Ter Stegen and Manchester United’s Kobbie Mainoo” are also coming to Rematch.
The innovative title arrives on June 19 and features an array of modes and content.
