Sloclap has announced they are hosting an Open Beta for Rematch Between May 28 and May 30, 2025. The invitations will extend to all platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series Consoles, and PC.
Rematch Open Beta Arrives May 28
The announcement for the upcoming Rematch Open Beta comes from their official Discord channel. It is expected to last for 48 hours, allowing players to immerse themselves and test out the football action to their heart’s content before the game’s full release arrives on June 19. However, before they start the open beta, the developers will first need to conduct a console tech test to ensure smooth functioning during the testing process.
The limited Console Technical Test for Rematch will be hosted on May 9. It will help the developers validate the PS5, Xbox Series, and PC Game Pass versions of the game. The invitations for the tech test will be shared separately from the open beta invites, and the earlier newsletter subscribers will be prioritised. Also, players with the Steam version of Rematch cannot participate in the upcoming open beta.
Rematch Crossplay Details
Along with the beta announcement, Sloclap confirmed that Rematch will not enable crossplay during the upcoming test. However, they are prioritising this feature for the game’s full release next month, and if not, shortly after the launch.
