Rockstar Games has finally released GTA 6 Trailer 2 after many, many months of waiting. It’s a showstopper of a trailer, clocking in at almost three minutes and revealing stacks of information about the recently delayed Grand Theft Auto epic.
In the trailer, one telling segment potentially reveals a staggering arsenal of weapons that could top anything we’ve ever had in the GTA series thus far. GTA 6 could have so many weapons for the player to choose from – and I’m here for every one of them.
How Many Weapons Will GTA 6 Have?
It’s impossible to say how many weapons GTA 6 will have, but in the new trailer, we’re given a solid indication of the potential.
At 2:09 in the new trailer, we see a television commercial for an Ammu-Nation store run by a jovial, mullet-sporting chap called Phil.
He declares:
Come to Phil’s Ammu-Nation today!
We’ve got more guns than the law allows!
On the wall behind Phil sit stacks of weapons, from low-calibre, semi-automatic rifles to over-under shotguns and lever-action rifles. As the camera pans to follow Phil as he promotes his store, we see Russian-style AK rifles as well as rifles that resemble the AR-15 platform.
In the background, there is also a wide range of smaller, SMG-style weapons, around 12 by my count. Plus, Phil takes the opportunity to seize (and fire into the air) a large and highly customised light-machine gun.
As the trailer unravels, we see plenty of handguns, an MP5, and even an automatic grenade launcher make an appearance. There are also armoured vehicles and a ‘Little Bird’ helicopter with weapons mounted on it.
GTA 6 could have more firepower than any game to come before it in the franchise, and that’s exciting.
