GTA 6 Trailer 2 is finally here, and Rockstar Games has wasted no time (after an 18-month wait) pouring stacks of information about the game into the minds of prospective fans worldwide. The trailer is almost three minutes of backstory, world-building, and action sequences, and gamers are lapping it up as we speak.
As I watched the trailer, which was captured on PS5, I couldn’t help but spot a pretty obvious console cameo front and centre in one segment. For a few seconds, a close replication of the PS5, with a DualShock controller, sits on the screen.
On The Nose
In one portion of GTA 6 Trailer 2, Rockstar Games takes a moment to allow Phil to promote his insane Ammu-Nation store. It’s a great bit, but there’s something else hidden in the shot.
If you look closer, you’ll see a thinly veiled representation of a DualShock controller sitting on a coffee table.
If you look even closer, you’ll see that sitting alongside the television set is a large, white console with a black centre piece and blue lighting strips running down the middle of it. It’s as close as you could get to having a PlayStation 5 console in the trailer without actually having a PlayStation 5 console in the trailer.

At the end of the three-minute video, Rockstar Games proudly proclaims that the trailer was captured on PS5, but it’s also coming to Xbox Series platforms when it’s released on May 26, 2026.
There’s still no mention of GTA 6 being released on PC, but it’ll happen eventually.
