Excitement for the long-awaited launch of Grand Theft Auto 6 is heating up, and Rockstar Games appears to be doubling-down on its advertising for the title, with real-life versions of GTA 6 cars spotted in Miami.
Rockstar Games‘ latest behemoth launches November 19, and, by all expectations, is tipped to be a record-breaker for the industry, building upon the long-standing success of previous Grand Theft Auto titles.
The real-world is being impacted by the upcoming GTA 6 launch, amid reports of workers booking days off well in advance, and Rockstar is capitalizing on that realism.
Real-Life GTA Cars Take to The Streets
Following other advertising moves that include a Vice City-themed blimp and a stadium takeover, Rockstar now appears to have brought real-life versions of GTA 6 cars to the streets of Miami.
Posted on X by GTASixInfo, images show a real-life Coquette with a Vice City wrap spotted by social media users, alongside a Lamborghini wrapped in Vice Beach Police livery.
Coquette is GTA’s fictional depiction of Corvettes, while Lamborghini itself won’t feature in the game, with Rockstar instead using their cars as inspiration for some of the top-of-the-range sports cars in the game.
With just over a month until the release of GTA 6, major advertising stunts like this could continue to heat up, with Miami center for the action as Florida serves as the setting for the title via the fictional state of Leonida.
Rockstar released the launch trailer for the game yesterday, showing cinematic shots and fresh gameplay action, raising hype for GTA 6 to fever pitch levels.
