For the first time in a very long time, the ‘Deals’ tab on the PlayStation Store has gone missing.
For those who don’t know, Sony is currently facing a class action lawsuit that would require it to pay about $7.8 million to all U.S. residents who purchased specific digital games through the PlayStation Network. Since then, the first new development for the store has arrived, and it’s one that some may never have seen before.
PlayStation Store Doesn’t Have a Deals Tab Right Now
Spotted by PushSquare, if you head over to the PlayStation Store on your console, in the mobile app, or on the website, you will see that the Deals tab is no longer there. The Deals tab has always been filled with discounts for PS4 and PS5 games, no matter how minuscule, and it’s just strange to not see that tab anymore. A sale was planned for today, May 7; however, it seems Sony may have decided against it.
The report also talks about another reason that could have resulted in the ‘Deals’ tabs disappearing. PlayStation has been working on UI changes for its current-gen console, which could mean it is also reworking the PlayStation Store. However, that change would’ve appeared in a beta version rather than the standard version, so it might be that the store doesn’t have any active deals at the moment.

In other news, here’s how you can check eligibility and claim money from the recent Sony PlayStation lawsuit. Additionally, the PlayStation Plus free monthly games for May 2026 have been revealed, and they include a very popular sports title.
