PlayStation has stated that the FlexStrike Fight Stick will release in August 2026.
The new fight stick was announced back in July 2025 for PS5 and PCs, with the blog post at the time offering players a glimpse of the features of the new fighting-games-inspired wireless controller. The latest announcement not only provides the release date but also the price, pre-order details, and availability for the FlexStrike.
PlayStation FlexStrike Fight Stick Release Date Set for August 6
A new blog post by PlayStation reveals that the FlexStrike Fight Stick will release alongside MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls on August 6, 2026. The purchase will include a sling carry case and a built-in rechargeable battery. Interested buyers can pre-order the controller starting Jun 12, 2026, at $199.99/€199.99/£179.99/¥34,980 (including tax). It will be available through direct.playstation.com and participating retailers.
Along with the new fighting controller, PlayStation is releasing a 27-inch Gaming Monitor with DualSense Charging Hook in the United States and Japan on August 27, 2026. It has been priced at $349.99/¥49,980, which comes with a 27-inch QHD IPS display (2560×1440) with VRR, supporting up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and up to 240Hz on a compatible PC or Mac. Additionally, the announcement also revealed that a set of Pulse Elevate wireless speakers will arrive later this year.
In other news, PlayStation saw a massive 50% drop in first-party sales between 2020 and 2024, prompting many to wonder how the firm recovers from here. Additionally, PlayStation has caught the neck of a major shovelware publisher, leading to the delisting of over 1,000 games.
