PlayStation has confirmed that both the Silent Hill 2 Remake and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are set to release in 2024.
The confirmation came via a new post on what to expect this year on the PlayStation Blog.
“All featured titles scheduled for release in 2024 at the time of publication,” Sony says at the bottom of the post. “Release timings for unreleased titles may be subject to change and can vary by region. Please check with the relevant publisher for the most up-to-date information.”
No specific dates for either game were given, but having the release window helps narrow things down. The latest rumor surrounding Silent Hill 2 was that it could be released in Q1 2024.
There’s been no mention of a release date for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. The last update from the studio was that it was working on the “faithful recreation of the original story and game design while evolving the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience“.
Silent Hill 2 Remake will be available on both PlayStation 5 and PC. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be available on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
