Phantom Blade Zero Pre-Orders & New Trailer Go Live Next Week

Phantom Blade Zero has officially reached the end of development, with S-Game confirming that pre-orders for the highly anticipated action game will go live next week.

Alongside the pre-order announcement, you can also look forward to a brand-new 11-minute trailer, which is set to showcase more of the game’s story, characters, combat, and even “something unexpected.”

Phantom Blade Zero New Trailer Details

Pre-orders for Phantom Blade Zero will go live on August 11 at 7 PM PT, with the game available to pre-order through the PlayStation Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

For those unfamiliar with S-Game’s upcoming title, Phantom Blade Zero is shaping up to be a major action game that blends fantasy and folk horror with what the developer describes as a “kungfupunk” melee system. Fast-paced martial arts are combined with machinery, creating a unique world where traditional swordplay meets brutal mechanical technology.

Combat isn’t the only major system that players can look forward to, either. Phantom Blade Zero will feature an honor system that can influence the game’s story, with the choices players make potentially creating a butterfly effect throughout the narrative. Helping others and acting with honor could even alter parts of the main questline.

The game was most recently showcased during the June 2026 PlayStation State of Play, where S-Game provided another look at its fluid melee combat and brutal enemy designs. Thankfully, the wait is almost over, as Phantom Blade Zero is currently scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026.

As for the mysterious “unexpected” reveal teased alongside the upcoming trailer, it’s currently unclear what S-Game has planned. With development now complete, there’s always the possibility that the release date could be brought forward, although it could just as easily be a new gameplay mechanic, system, or another surprise entirely.

For now, that’s purely speculation, and we’ll have to tune in on August 11 to find out exactly what S-Game has in store. In the meantime, check out the game’s trailer below:
