OZARK Shadowdrops Today During 28 Games Later Showcase

OZARK made a big splash during Insider Gaming’s 28 Games Later showcase, with a brand-new trailer revealing that the 2.5D action game is shadowdropping today, October 1.

Developed by ALTER-BOY, OZARK is a short, story-driven adventure that takes players into a derelict facility filled with horrifying human experiments. While you can brave the nightmare alone, the game was built with co-op in mind, allowing two players to tackle its gruesome action together.

What Is OZARK?

Features

Side-Scrolling Action

OZARK combines traditional side-scrolling gameplay with 2.5D environments, giving its levels more depth while keeping the action focused on a side-scrolling perspective. As you explore the derelict facility, you’ll have to fight your way through a variety of gruesome threats and uncover the horrors hidden within.

Story-Driven Experience

OZARK is designed to be a short and intense experience, with its narrative at the heart of the adventure. You’ll venture into a derelict facility in search of your missing partner, only to discover the disturbing human experiments taking place inside. Expect plenty of bloody horror as you delve deeper into the facility and uncover what happened.

Crafted With Co-Op In Mind

While OZARK can be played entirely solo, ALTER-BOY designed the game with co-op at its core. You and a friend can tackle the game together with two-player co-op, with both online and local multiplayer supported. So, if you’re looking for a horror game to play with a friend this Halloween, OZARK could be for you.

The Studio Behind OZARK

OZARK was developed by ALTER-BOY, a collective of designers, developers, artists, and other creatives working across games, apps, and interactive prototypes.

The studio has previously ventured into gaming with LOST ALTR, a casual card game that offers a very different experience from the gruesome action of OZARK.
