A new Nintendo Switch 2 bundle is set to release in Europe, featuring a copy of the hit life-simulation title Pokémon Pokopia, it has been revealed.
Pokémon Pokopia was released to rave reviews earlier this year and is the first Pokémon title to release exclusively on the Switch 2, with Pokémon Winds & Waves set to follow.
Price rises to Nintendo Switch 2 hardware, and other consoles, have hit the industry recently, but those in Europe looking to save some money picking up the console alongside Pokémon Pokopia are set to have another option.
Switch 2 Bundle with Pokémon Pokopia Set to Release
Following on from confirmed release periods in the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand, all of which will be available from early June, Dealabs has revealed that a Switch 2 bundle coming alongside Pokémon Pokopia is also on the horizon.
Similar to other regions, the bundle is expected to be available in June, but there will be some packaging differences, as it’s stated the left-side of the box will feature a Ditto, the Pokémon that players take control of in Pokopia.
Additionally, it’s revealed the bundle will have a suggested retail price of €509, but this will only remain in effect until September 1, 2026, when price rises for the console will come into effect.
However, retailers are expected to offer discounted rates, which could reduce the price closer to €455. Again, though, expect the prices to be raised later this year.
Bundling Pokopia with a Switch 2 console makes a lot of sense, considering the staggering sales numbers and scores from critics and players alike it has received, and it could be one of the most popular items to purchase in the holiday season later this year.
Fans are eagerly awaiting to hear any news of additional content coming to Pokopia, with a growing hope for DLC, especially given that the tenth generation of the franchise won’t be released until 2027.
