Next Battlefield Still Planned For Release Before April 2026

EA has reaffirmed its plans to launch the next Battlefield by FY26.

The re-confirmation about Battlefield’s launch plans comes from EA’s Q4 FY25 financial results. The publisher has stated that the EA Sports portfolio will fuel year-over-year net bookings growth in fiscal year 2026, thanks to launches of the next Battlefield, Skate and Sims titles during this window. Also, they look forward to the “highly anticipated reveal of Battlefield” this summer.

During EA’s previous financial results, the publisher confirmed that the next Battlefield game would be released before April 1, 2026. The new details are in line with the earlier announcement. The planned release window will also allow enough eyes to flock towards Battlefield 6 before GTA 6 releases in May and hogs all the attention.

Moreover, we also received a development update today for Battlefield Labs, in which they revealed the state of their community test environment and how they plan to improve it. This month, the developers will expand the testing environment by inviting more players across Europe and North America and will start to include select areas of Asia.

In other news, the Battlefield 6 weapons list recently leaked online. Additionally, gameplay from the alpha test has leaked online, too. What are your thoughts on EA reaffirming an FY26 release window for the next Battlefield? Let us know below, and join the discussion in the official Insider Gaming forums.
